We intentionally swap out structured learning for an exciting, vibrant environment where the focus is 100% on unstructured play, exploration, and giving every child the freedom to just be themselves.

What is Funhouse Camp?+
Funhouse Camp is a holiday camp dedicated to providing a safe, joyful, and liberating space for children during school breaks. Our mission is to swap structured learning for unstructured play and exploration, ensuring every child can truly unwind and recharge. Our slogan is: "Your Home for Holiday Fun."
Where is the camp held?+
The camp is held at Sunnyhill Primary School.
What are the operating hours?+
Standard Day: 9:00 AM โ€“ 4:00 PM. Extended Care: Available from 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM (additional cost applies).
What age groups can attend?+
We welcome children aged 4 to 11, typically covering Reception to Year 6.
What should my child bring to camp?+
Please ensure your child has: A packed lunch (must be No-Nut) and a reusable water bottle, suitable clothing for all weather including a raincoat, sun cream, a change of clothes. They should wear trainers and must not wear any jewellery for safety reasons. We advise against bringing valuables.
What is your policy on mobile phones?+
To ensure a focused environment for play and socializing, children are not permitted to use mobile phones, tablets, or other electronic devices while attending Funhouse Camp.
Are your staff qualified and background-checked?+
Yes. Our team is composed of qualified, experienced educators who have undergone Enhanced DBS checks (Disclosure and Barring Service). They also receive mandatory, up-to-date safeguarding training on the Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidelines.
Is Funhouse Camp regulated?+
Yes, we are Ofsted Registered. This means our policies, practices, and premises are inspected and assessed by the official UK government regulator to ensure we meet all required standards for safety and quality.
What is your approach to safety and first aid?+
Your child's safety is our number one priority. We maintain low coach-to-child ratios, conduct risk assessments for all activities, and use a rigorous Sign-In/Out and Headcount system throughout the day. A Paediatric First Aider is always on site.
Do you have a policy on allergies?+
Yes, we enforce a strict No-Nut Policy across all clubs to protect children with severe allergies. Parents must ensure all packed foods are nut-free. We also follow a clear, written protocol for collecting, storing, and dispensing prescribed medication.
How do you support children with SEND?+
We are committed to full inclusion. We maintain low ratios for high support, and all staff receive Inclusion Training. When you book, you can share essential support information, which is then added to our registers so staff are fully prepared to adapt activities and ensure your child thrives.
How do I secure a place for my child?+
Places are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Your child's place is only confirmed once full payment has been received. Payment must be completed 14 days prior to the club start date.
What is your cancellation policy?+
If you need to cancel, we offer a full refund provided you notify Funhouse Camp at least 48 hours in advance of the club start time. We do not issue refunds for non-attendance due to illness or other events outside of our control.
What happens if I am late collecting my child?+
Children must be collected promptly at the scheduled time (4:00 PM or 5:15 PM for extended care). A late pick-up fee will be charged immediately for any late collection. If a child is collected late on three or more occasions, we reserve the right to terminate the enrollment.
Is my child required to be toilet trained?+
Yes, all children enrolled are expected to be toilet trained, meaning they can use the toilet independently. While we understand occasional accidents happen, we reserve the right to discuss alternative arrangements or cancel future days if a child has frequent accidents and does not have special needs affecting their training.
