At Funhouse Camp, safeguarding every child is the responsibility of everyone. Child safety is our highest priority.
Our Commitment
Funhouse Camp is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children in our care. We recognize that safeguarding is everyone's responsibility and ensure that all staff, volunteers, and visitors understand and follow our safeguarding procedures.
Key Safeguarding Measures
- Ofsted Registration: We are registered with Ofsted and subject to regular inspections
- Enhanced DBS Checks: All staff undergo enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service checks
- KCSIE Training: Staff receive mandatory training on Keeping Children Safe in Education guidelines
- Designated Safeguarding Lead: We have a trained Safeguarding Officer responsible for all safeguarding concerns
- Safe Recruitment: Rigorous recruitment processes including references and identity checks
